Barn Dance & Ceilidh Caller

Unless otherwise agreed,ALL the Barn Dance,Ceilidh and Howdown bands will have a caller as part of the full band line-up.Sometimes the caller (who can be either male or female) is a musician who is part of the band or a separate person who concentrates solely on explaining the dance moves both before and during the actual dance when the band are playing.Depending on the actual event,the caller's role can be more than just simply 'calling' the dances - you might want to check out the links below....
