What,EXACTLY,is included in the fee quoted ?

After we have chatted through your particular event/requirements,we will quote you a fee.This will be a FIXED PRICE TOTALLY INCLUSIVE FEE (except for food/drinks and car parking fees for band members – see below).

After chatting and agreeing upon a suitable band,we will quote a fee for your particular event on an agreed date at an agreed venue.This verbal quotation will be an offer and,if you wish to proceed,all the main details will be forwarded,as an offer,in writing.

Quoted fees will INCLUDE……….

Musicians as agreed,the caller (all bands have a caller for ceilidhs and barn dances),band’s performance charges,band’s own PA system,band members’ travel expenses to and from the venue and any necessary band insurances….

Quoted fees will NOT INCLUDE……..

Light food refreshments and 2 rounds of drinks for band members or any vehicle parking fees for band’s vehicles.Read on………

Band members will usually miss out on normal meals for evening events…and we all know that ‘eating out’ is far more expensive than eating at home.So band members will expect the client to provide,free of charge,some light refreshments by way of food.Likewise,drinks at many venues have become somewhat expensive – and some of these same venues (OK…..we mean hotels particularly !) will not allow people to bring their own drinks into the premises.2 rounds of drinks for a 5 piece line-up could be as much as £30+…………that’s why band members expect a couple of free drinks.

Parking……personally,I hate paying for parking anywhere.Fortunately,most venues have their own parking spaces available free of charge – so it’s not a problem.BUT,in some of the larger cities parking space is limited or not available at venues.This means that the band hunts around for free spaces within a reasonable distance (which may not be practical in terms of getting ready for your event) or they have to pay a fee for parking.Try Central London for 2 vehicles’s parking at an NCP car-park and you’ll get an idea of what we mean.Such fees would have to be met,in addition to quoted fees,by the client.
